The Anargyrios and Korgialenios school of Spetses (A.K.S.S.) launches its second edition of a 10 day yearly international music academy starting in summer 2022.
The Music Academy of the Anargyrios and Korgialenios school of Spetses (M.A.A.K.S.S), provides an educational platform for musical encounters where young adults are able to attend master classes by established international artists, as well as attend regular sessions to build on their musical skills.
The Academy will bring together teachers from Greece and abroad to provide high quality music education sessions with music master classes and performances for both instruments and singing. In addition, the Academy will incorporate Alexander Tecnhique seminars for posture and balance techniques, and will roll out a strong community engagement program to encourage citizens of Spetses and the region to participate, and together build a visionary academic program for Greece. The unique premises of the school, naturally befitted with an exceptional heritage, will offer an ideal surrounding for this unique Music Academy in Greece.

- The Academy will allow its members to exchange music skills and foment a direct contact with the locals of Spetses, its tourists and the musicians.
- The young musicians will perform a series of chamber music concerts and have the opportunity of sharing their experiences with the wider public of Spetses.
- The classes and rehearsals of performances are open to the public.
The Academy is supported by an advisory commitee, composed by key figures in the music education and culture fields.
