Testimonials

“This festival is truly one of a kind. Set on the breathtaking island of Spetses, I could not find a more enriching experience anywhere on earth. The faculty are world class, and deeply care about each student’s growth during the festival. The facilities are beautiful, the administration are warm and extremely caring. What’s more, is that the quality of life, and the people you spend your time with during this program, will not only become friends, but true family.

As someone who has been two MAAKSS for two summers thus far, I found I grew tremendously as a musician and a person. The hardest part about this festival is saying goodbye to everyone at it’s end. Though it’s only ten days, it will be ten days to remember fondly for the rest of your life.

Whether you’re a pre college musician, or working professional, this festival will inspire, nurture, and give you opportunities you never thought possible.

I am extremely proud to have gone to MAAKSS for two summers, and I can only hope to return for more years to come!”

Thank you for creating this Academy!

I found that impressive, that we had such a great setting, with great food, great accommodations, and of course great teachers for such affordable fees! It would be great to see it getting bigger, with more instruments, so that I could recommend it to more of my friends!

Philippe Kristofic
